Boarded up Building in Holyhead

Derelict building by Holyhead Harbour

Anyone know what this was?

Just by the harbour entrance at Holyhead, Anglesey, this strangely ornate stone building on a corner, next door to a couple of (still inhabited) houses of a similar style, looks like an old pub. Perhaps it was. Maybe it's listed too, which would make renovation offputtingly expensive. Boarded up windows make it look more derelict than it really is. My prediction: renovation once the property market recovers.

From Odds and Sods

  • Remnant of the Crumlin Viaduct
  • Pant Seiri Farmstead ruin Builth
  • Bala abandoned house
  • Derelict on Summer Hill, Holyhead
